  • macB IVR supports for multiple voice devices. Supported devices include all VoIP, Digital (E1/T1) and Analog devices from Eicon (Diva Server), Dialogic (Global Call API), Ai-Logix, Telephony API, Opal (OpenH323) and Skype. Development of drivers for other popular voice devices is in progress.
  • macB IVR includes support for open interfaces like Telephony API (TAPI), Speech API (SAPI), ActiveX Data Objects (ADO) and Open Database Connectivity (ODBC), due to which the toolkit works with nearly all available Telephony hardware, Speech Engines and Databases. macB IVR integrates with and can be extended using most programming languages.
  • macB IVR works right from a single port voice device to a 512 port T1/E1 solution.macB IVR also supports clustering of systems to provide for higher port densities of 1000+ ports and to provide for fail-over/redundant backup.
  • macB IVR solutions are fully Internet enabled and supports http, get/post, smtp and pop3 which enable information to be obtained from or submitted to the Internet. This enables easy integration with existing Internet solutions.

Key Features

Xtend IVR implements a driver model for interfacing with voice devices. This enables our IVR Applications to support practically any voice device in the market. At present, drivers are available that support Digital (E1/T1), SS7, H323 & SIP and Analog voice devices from Eicon and Dialogic. Examples of supported devices include Diva Server PRI/E1, Diva Server Analog 4P, Diva Server V-PRI/E1, Diva Server V-4PRI, Diva Server V-PRI/T1, Diva Server Soft SS7, Diva Server SoftIP, D/4 PCI, D/4 PCI UF, D/300 JCT E1 etc. Additional voice devices are being supported on a ongoing basis, depending on customer requests and device availability.
macB IVR solutions comes with comprehensive databases support like  SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, Sybase, Access, MySQL and other standard databases via ADO and ODBC. Advanced database functionality can be implemented by interfacing to any of the supported languages.
The scripting language includes the ability to call functions written in Vbscript, Javascript and Perlscript (Windows Scripting Host), functions written in C# or VB.Net (.Net Framework) and the ability to call programs written in Foxpro, Clipper, Visual Basic, C, C++ and other legacy languages.
Support of all Speech API 4.x and 5.x compatible engines for Text to Speech. UT8 strings are supported for TTS enabling support of foreign language speech engines.
All Speech API 5.x engines are supported for Speech Recognition. The ability to dynamically create and load multiple recognition grammars is supported as is the ability to perform speech cut-through on complete recognition of sentence, on recognition of the first word and in presence of speech.
The technology is designed from ground up for multi-language prompt support and enables the user to implement ivr support for multiple languages in less time.
The extensible number to speech conversion enables any number, date or monetary value to be spoken out. Languages currently supported include English or Hindi. Country dependant number to speech ensures that numbers are converted correctly based on the prevailing standard of that country. At present US, UK and Indian standards are supported.
Ability to play a wave file in the background while simultaneously playing prompts enables one to incorporate background jingles or corporate tunes instantly into an ivr solution.
Voice streams from any full-duplex voice device can be streamed to any other voice device channel thereby enabling soft interconnect of voice streams. This enables functionality such as the ability to snoop ivrs calls in real time, stream ivrs conversations to a multimedia device and to conference channels to each other. For example, an incoming call in Skype could be conferenced to an incoming call on the Dialogic Diva Server voice card.
Complete voice logs for any channel can be implemented via the insertion of a single voicelog command into the script. This is useful for maintaining raw voice records of ivrs usage for official purposes or for debugging ivrs problems.
Support for multimedia devices for streaming audio to multiple channels. For example, the input of the sound card mic can be taken and provided to all callers who dial into the system. Such an implementation could be used for providing a real-time radio / music channel service to callers.
Supports the ability to send and receive SMS messages via a standard GSM modem. Comprehensive support for Unicode text, long sms and Flash messages are present. SMS support is available as a separate software pack that must be purchased independently.
Has built-in facility to implement multi-party conferences using on-board resources to minimize cpu usage. Call conference support is available as a separate software pack that must be purchased independently.
Supports a plugin interface to enable easy extensions to its scripting language. This permits implementation of additional functionality if such customization is required. For example, the in-built database functionality and smtp / pop3 access is implemented as plugins.

Note: System requirements may vary depending on addition technologies in use on the same system. For example, speech recognition for multiple ports would require a better CPU and more memory.

Supported Voice Devices

Our IVR implements a device driver architecture for supporting practically any voice device available in the market. Drivers are constantly updated to support newer voice devices. At present, the following drivers are supported:

All Dialogic Voice Cards supporting Global Call API under 5.1.1 is supported. Extensive testing of Xtend IVR is performed using D/4 PCI UF (for Analog) and D/300 E1 JCT (for Digital) voice cards.
All Dialogic Voice Cards supporting Global Call API under 6.0 is supported. Extensive testing of Xtend IVR is performed using D/4 PCI UF (for Analog) and D/300 E1 JCT (for Digital) voice cards. 
All Dialogic Diva Server Voice Cards and Soft Device (H323 & SIP) are supported. Extensive testing of Xtend IVR has been performed using Diva Server V-Analog-4P (for Analog) and Diva Server PRI/E1/T1-8 / Diva Server V-PRI/E1 (for Digital).
All E1/T1/Analog Ai-Logix Voice Cards are supported. Extensive testing of Xtend IVR has been performed using Ai-Logix LD409 (for Analog) and Ai-Logix DT3209 (for Digital).
Most NMS cards supporting Natural Access 2005-1 SP3 have been supported. Extensive testing of Xtend IVR has been performed using CG 6000 and AG 4040 (for Digital). AG 2000 and QX 2000 has been verified working (for Analog). 
Most Donjin cards supporting NADK 1.8 have been supported. Extensive testing of Xtend IVR has been performed using DN1200 E1 and DN300JCT E1 (for Digital) and DN16AJCT (for Analog).
The DonjinCSP driver supports NADK 1.8.1 in Continuous Speech Processing (CSP) mode for all Donjin JCT cards. Extensive testing has been performed using the Donjin DN600JCT-1E1 digital voice card.
Most Synway cards supporting SynCTI 4.7 have been supported. Extensive testing of Xtend IVR has been performed using SHD-30B-CT/PCI/FAX (for Digital) and SHT-8B/PCI (for Analog).
Opal H323 driver supports the H.323 protocol for VoIP. The driver implementation utilizes the Opal Libraries available from 
Skype is supported via the Skype API. Extensive testing has been performed only for upto four simultaneous ports.
TAPI 2.1 is supported in half-duplex mode. Extensive testing has been performed using the Dialogic D/4 PCI / Tata PCT An (for Analog) and Dialogic Diva Server PRI/E1/T1-8 (for Digital) voice devices.
TAPI 2.1 is supported in this full-duplex tapi driver. Extensive testing has been performed using the Dialogic Diva Server PRI/E1/T1-8 (for Digital) voice devices.
Multimedia devices are supported via this driver. This enables one to stream voice to the Multimedia Speakers or stream in voice from the Line-In/Mic. Live audio services can be supported via this driver.
The service driver is a null device used to create worker threads that can be utilized to perform any background task like reading from the com port or to schedule services for later date.
The Generic GSM Modem is a driver that supports the sending and receiving of SMS Messages using standard GSM Modems. Full support for Unicode, Long, Blink and Flash Sms are present. The Generic GSM Modem driver is available along with the Xtend SMS toolkit as a separate purchase and can be integrated into an IVR solution, if required.
